Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is your ice cream and other desserts really sugar-free?
Yes! All our ice creams, cakes, and other desserts are completely sugar-free.
For some, we use xylitol as a natural sweetener, and for others, erythritol or isomalt (depending on the product) are used so you can enjoy a delicious treat without any added sugar.
2. Is your ice cream safe for diabetics?
Yes — our products are designed with diabetics in mind. All of the sweeteners that we use have a low impact on blood sugar, making our ice cream and desserts a great alternative to traditional options. As always, enjoy in moderation.
3. What is xylitol?
Xylitol is a natural sugar alternative found in plants. It tastes like sugar but has fewer calories and a much lower impact on blood sugar levels.
⚠️ Important: Xylitol is not safe for dogs — please keep products out of reach of pets.
4. Are your products keto-friendly?
Yes! Our ice creams, cakes, and desserts are keto-friendly and low-carb, making them perfect for anyone following a keto or banting lifestyle.
5. Are your products gluten-free?
Yes — all of our ice creams and desserts are gluten-free.
Our baked products are made in a kitchen where gluten is present, so while we take great care with our processes, there is a very small risk of cross-contamination. If you have a severe gluten intolerance or allergy, we recommend getting in touch with us for more information.
6. Do you offer lactose-free options?
Yes! We offer selected lactose-free flavours. Availability may vary, so feel free to check with us or your nearest stockist.
7. Where can I buy your ice cream?
Our products are available at selected stores. You can also contact us directly to find your nearest stockist.
8. Do your products contain nuts?
Some of our products contain nuts, specifically almonds and peanut butter, which are used in certain ice cream flavours.
Our commercial ice cream kitchen follows strict food safety and allergen control procedures to minimise the risk of cross-contamination. However, as these ingredients are handled in our facility, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from trace amounts of nuts.
If you have a severe nut allergy, we recommend exercising caution and contacting us directly so we can guide you based on your specific needs.
9. Are your products suitable for weight loss diets?
Our products are low in sugar and carbs, making them a great option for those managing their sugar intake.
However, they should still be enjoyed as part of a balanced lifestyle.
10. Where can I find the nutritional information for your products?

11. Why are Sugar-Free products generally so expensive?
Unfortunately, the ingredients themselves are more expensive.
Regular sugar is relatively cheap and widely available. Sugar substitutes, on the other hand, tend to cost more to produce and source. They also need to meet strict quality standards to ensure they’re safe and suitable for people who rely on sugar-free options, such as those managing diabetes.
Secondly, making a product without sugar isn’t as straightforward as just removing it.
Sugar affects taste, texture, and shelf life, so we have to carefully balance alternative ingredients to get a similar result.
That extra development and testing adds to the overall cost.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that sugar-free products are often made in smaller batches compared to mainstream sugared products. Lower production volumes usually mean higher costs per unit.
Even with these challenges, we try to keep our pricing as fair as possible, even absorbing rising ingredient costs rather than passing them on to our customers, all just to keep our products accessible to those that rely on them.
So while sugar-free options may seem pricey, the cost reflects the quality of ingredients, the care in production, and the effort to make them safe and enjoyable for the people who need them.
Our question on the other hand, is this…
With some regular sugared ice cream brands now available in stores, with prices that are only marginally less than our sugar-free ice cream…
How do they justify their prices?
What’s their excuse…?
